Where we're actually from
Towns of a few hundred, customers across three counties.
The Osage County river towns sit above the south bank of the Missouri — Chamois had 377 people at the last census, Westphalia 378, Freeburg 409. On paper they're inside the Jefferson City metro; in practice they're a long way from it. That's the vantage point this whole company is built from, and it's why the pitch on this site isn't about scale.
Down the river is Hermann, the Gasconade County seat since 1842, where seven wineries produce roughly a third of Missouri's wine and Maifest and Oktoberfest turn a town of 2,200 into something else entirely for six weekends a year. South is Owensville — the largest city in Gasconade County even though Hermann keeps the courthouse. West is Linn, the Osage County seat and home of State Technical College. Around all of it: Westphalia, Freeburg, Belle, Bland, Rosebud, Vienna, Morrison, Gasconade.

Are you actually local, or is this a website that says "local"?
Actually local. Ctrl Shift Esc is a registered Missouri LLC run out of the Osage County river towns by one person, and that person answers the email on this site. We don't publish a street address — it's a home office, and we'd rather say that plainly than rent a mailbox somewhere to look bigger than we are.
My cell service is terrible. Does that break any of this?
No — it's most of the reason to do it. ACE answers on the phone network whether or not your handset has bars, so the call gets handled even when you don't know it happened. The lead text lands the moment you're back in coverage, with the recording and transcript intact.
We're seasonal. Does that work?
