Who we are

Ctrl Shift Esc, LLC ("CSE," "we," "us") is a Missouri-based company that builds and hosts websites, operates an AI phone receptionist service ("ACE"), and builds and rents local lead-generation websites. This policy covers this website (controlshiftescapeit.com) and the websites and phone lines we build and operate.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form or call a number on one of our sites, we collect what you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address (if given), business or trade, your service request, and any details you share.

Phone calls answered by ACE. When you call a business line served by our AI receptionist, the call is answered by an automated assistant, is recorded and transcribed, and the details you provide (name, callback number, address, the reason for your call, and urgency) are captured. Every call includes a spoken notice that it is recorded. Missouri is a one-party-consent state; we disclose recording regardless.

Technical information. Our hosting and network providers automatically log basic technical data — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — to keep the sites running, fast, and secure.

Where it's stored. Form submissions and call records are stored in a secure database operated on our behalf by our hosting provider, accessible only to CSE and the systems that deliver your request.

We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers through these forms, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and provide the service you asked about.
• To connect a caller or form submission with the local business that services that market or trade (see "Lead generation" below).
• To operate, secure, monitor, and improve our websites and phone service.
• To meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.

Lead generation — how leads are shared

Some of the websites we operate are lead-generation sites we own. When you contact one of those sites, your request (call summary or form details) is forwarded to one local business that fulfills that service in that area, so they can contact you and do the work. That business becomes responsible for its own handling of your information from that point. We forward leads only to the servicing business; we do not sell your information.

Who we share information with

• The servicing business, as described above, so your request can be fulfilled.
• Service providers who operate parts of our platform on our behalf — website hosting, telephony, and the AI receptionist technology — under obligations to protect the data and use it only to provide their service.
• When required by law, such as a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of CSE or others.

We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep lead and call records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Call recordings are retained for quality and dispute-resolution purposes and deleted on a rolling basis.

How we protect it

The sites are served over encrypted connections (HTTPS) on a global network with a web application firewall, DDoS protection, and automatic security certificates. Lead data is stored in a secured database with restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information and monitor our sites around the clock.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask a question about this policy, by emailing levi@controlshiftescapeit.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you prefer a business not receive your request as a lead, tell us and we will honor it where we can.

Children

Our sites and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
